Writing a story, as you do, and i am now stuck should i:
A: keep the main character as just a human
B: reveal a hidden ancestory which in turns unlocks abilities and powers
C: keep the hidden ancestory a secret and reveal it later
D: have him turned by a Vampire
Help would be apreciated and characters are open, just note me/comment a full description (any fantasy species are welcome)...

To those who have lost a close friend or even family or even both... i know its hard i've been through it both with a family member and a close friend. It hurts... god it hurts so bad but i try to look on the brighter side if i can find one or remember the good times spent with them..
